The Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA) has held a planning retreat to prepare its 2026 Performance Plan, bringing together the Agency's leadership and teams to set priorities for the year ahead.
The retreat was convened under the theme 'Simple, Transparent and Quality Service Delivery,' with a focus on improving the quality and efficiency of services, strengthening institutional performance, and ensuring that the Agency continues to meet the needs of the public.
Discussions centred on how to build on recent reforms — including the digitisation of services and the expansion of passport facilities — and on setting clear, measurable objectives that translate the Agency's vision into practical results for citizens.
By planning deliberately and transparently, the Agency aims to deliver services that are faster, simpler and more reliable, while reinforcing accountability and a culture of continuous improvement across all of its departments.
The 2026 Performance Plan forms part of the Agency's broader commitment to institutional excellence and to positioning the Immigration and Citizenship Agency as a modern, service-oriented public institution.
