Any Somali national has the right to be issued with an ordinary passport if they complete the following requirements.

• • Individual written request.
  • Two ID size photos.
  • Criminal History letter from CID (Criminal Investigation Division) – Adults Only
  • Birth Certificate or Proof of Residence from (local government or closest Somali Embassy when residence is outside of the country)
  • Passing a personal check and the conditions mentioned in Articles 1 and 2.
  • Payment receipt of passport fees from the Finance Office.
