ICA Somalia Completes Five-Year Strategic Plan

The Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA) of Somalia has successfully completed the validation process for its Five-Year Strategic Plan. This marks the final step in the development of this critical roadmap for the organization.

 

The validation meeting, held in Mogadishu, was presided over by the Minister of Internal Security, H.E. Abdullahi Ismail Fartaag. The Minister commended the work done to develop this strategic plan and applauded the ICA officers who have been diligently serving the people of Somalia day and night.

This Strategic Plan will pave the way for the development of key initiatives that will strengthen Somalia’s immigration and border management systems. ICA Somalia committed to enhancing our infrastructure, enrollment centers, border management programs, and human resource capacity to better serve the people of Somalia.

The Five-Year Strategic Plan outlines the ICA’s vision and priorities for the coming years, positioning the agency as a crucial player in safeguarding Somalia’s national security and facilitating lawful cross-border movements.
