The Somali Council of Ministers approved Mr. Ahmed Said Mohamed appointment as the new Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency of Somalia.
The decision follows the Minister of Internal Security’s recommendation to appoint Mr. Mohamed as the new ICA Director General.
The appointment of the ICA Director General was at the top of the cabinet’s agenda during its weekly meeting today.
Salah Ahmed Jama, the deputy prime minister of Somalia, presided over a cabinet meeting in Mogadishu and wished the newly appointed Director General success in his job.
Mr. Mohamed has extensive experience working in public institutions. His diverse background contributes to his ability to effectively lead the Immigration and Citizenship Agency of Somalia.
