The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Mr. Ahmed Said Mohamed, has concluded a workshop for officials from various border agencies of the Jubbaland Administration.

The Director General urged the officials to effectively fulfill their responsibilities in safeguarding the country’s borders and to work collaboratively for the nation. He also emphasized the need for government agencies to complement each other in fulfilling their national duties related to their assigned responsibilities.

This two-day workshop focused on the collaboration among agencies operating at the borders, including the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, the Police, the Quality Control Agency, and NISA. They all work together at the border points of Dolow, Raaskambooni, Dhoobleey, Beled-hawo, and Kismaayo.
