Immigration and Citizenship Agency Somalia Launches Five-Year Strategic Plan

Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA) of Somalia has officially launched its Five-Year Strategic Plan, a comprehensive roadmap that will guide the organization’s service development initiatives over the coming years.

The launch event was presided over by the Director-General of ICA Somalia, Mr. Ahmed Said Mohamed, who commended the leadership and staff, particularly the Planning Department, for their tireless efforts in developing this important document.

“This Strategic Plan is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the ICA team,” said Mr. Ahmed Said Mohamed. “It will serve as a blueprint for strengthening our immigration and border management systems, enhancing service delivery, and contributing to the overall security and prosperity of Somalia.”

The Five-Year Strategic Plan outlines the ICA’s vision as well as its strategic objectives and key focus areas. These include improving infrastructure and enrollment centers, enhancing border management programs, and building the capacity of the agency’s human resources.

The launch of this plan marks a significant milestone for the ICA, as it sets the stage for the organization to play an even more vital role in safeguarding Somalia’s borders and facilitating lawful cross-border movements.
