A delegation led by the Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency held meetings with the leaders of the Ministry of the Interior, the Federal Police, and officials at Berlin Brandenburg International Airport in Germany.

Director General Ahmed Said Mohamed and his delegation, who are on a working visit to Germany and are accompanied by the Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Government of Somalia in Germany, met with the leaders of the Ministry of the Interior to discuss the importance of recognizing Somali passports and enhancing cooperation to develop the relationship between the two countries in the area of immigration.

Additionally, the Director General and his delegation held meetings with the leaders of the Federal Police of Germany and visited Berlin Brandenburg International Airport, where they examined the processes and systems that the German government uses to manage immigration and oversee the entry of migrants.

The leadership of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency are strengthening cooperation and relations with the German government as part of efforts to enhance international ties, aiming to align with global developments in passport management and share experiences and collaborate on advancing immigration issues

Previous Officials from the Immigration and Citizenship Agency of Somalia participated in a workshop in Djibouti organized by the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD)
